Since their humble beginnings in 1991, Nicholas Deakins has built an unrivalled reputation for their quality design and manufacturing.  For 22 years they have been producing contemporary clothing and footwear for the style conscious man as the brand continues to evolve whilst holding true to the styles on which it has built its name.

Autumn/Winter 2013 sees the brand once again partner with historic British manufacturers Harris Tweed on a range of tees, polo shirts and footwear. Introducing the Diadora Equipe‏

Coated in buttery brushed suede, the Equipe is one of the simplest models in the Diadora arsenal. It features an almost completely tonal upper with contrasting leather branding on the side panels and interior, with the Diadora name resting proudly on the heel and tongue.

The shoe sits on top of a low-profile gum cupsole, offset against the upper nicely. The real detail here is in the Equipe’s unique lacing system, with plastic lace loops adding intrigue to an otherwise understated silhouette.

Autumn/Winter footwear collection by Nicholas Deakins

Craig Nicholas Tate, whilst studying for a BA Honours in Fashion and Textile in London established Nicholas Deakins in 1991. An initial collection of only four styles was then made in England by W.J Brookes to exploit a niche in the market, and the brand quickly became a favourite of the clubs and terraces, earning a loyal and dedicated fashion savvy following.

Now based in Craig Tate’s hometown of Leeds, the Nicholas Deakins collection includes a full line of clothing and footwear, with the brand’s flagship store situated in the city’s Victorian Quarter. Nicholas Deakins continues to evolve, introducing new materials and production methods, whilst holding true to the classic British styles on which the brand has built its name.
