Sola Reign - Down 4 You

Sola - Down 4 You

New neo-r&b songstress Sola Reign drops her new single "Down 4 You".  This is the first track off her brand new mixtape Narcotics. Channeling the dark, dreamy sounds of acts like Banks, Tove Lo and Lykke Li, Sola enraptures listeners with her deep, soulful vocals and heartfelt lyrics. Sola’s talent has been making waves throughout the blogosphere, being featured on sites likeSayNoMo, AudioMack, and Hilly Dilly, who gushes that her latest track, “Old Thing,” is “a beautiful mixture of alternative, electronic, indie, pop, and, most notably, R&B,” and “never overwhelmingly or underwhelmingly, she sings, and the minimal-but-effective processing of her voice really provides a nice polish that laminates the entire track.”

Major - 96 (prod. LostDreamer)‏

Major - 96 (prod. LostDreamer)‏

If you're a hip-hop head a lot of you are familiar with the phrase "like we bringin' '88 back". To the previous generation this was an ode to a time when the game was at a peak and a way to pay homage to the era that was. Step into the current wave of artists who remember a different time when the rhymes were grimy, extravagant and ignorant. We refer to this as simply '96. New York native Major captures the feel perfectly on his brand new single of the same name, embodying what it was to be a part of arguably the biggest year hip-hop has ever given us. Backed by a Scarface-esque beat produced by LostDreamer, the now Florida transplant puts in bar work reminiscent of his idols that will leave you questioning just exactly what year it is. This will live on his upcoming project "The Century" which is slated for release in 2015.

John Doe x Redd - Favorite Song (prod. Redd)

John Doe x Redd - Favorite Song (prod. Redd)

19 year old up-and-coming Hip-Hop artist John Doe is from Central Florida. With his ''iLoveTuesday'' movement has recently dropped a new song called ''Favorite Song" which is not only a new sound but yet a new wave. "Fun Rap" as you hear the record go.
Favorite Song" was made because over the last couple months the only records I've been hearing with are artist chasing radio singles. So that is why there are too sides to the record. The very beginning is me chasing the sound but in the end going back to what i know. There will be a video released in November. John Doe.
